What is Gurutropolis?
The community for Personal and Professional Development. Your source for the world's greatest teachers, training and tools dedicated to your growth and personal development. We are a community of like-minded individuals with the collective goal of inspiring, motivating and drawing out the best in each other.

Who is Gurutropolis for?
Gurutropolis is for individuals curious or committed to personal development. Whether you are seeking guidance, or more clients Gurutropolis can support you.

How do I change my profile information/username/picture?
You can manage all of your profile information once you log in to your account. By selecting the Blue "My Dashboard" button at the top of the page you can access all of your profile settings. To change your Avatar (picture) select "Choose new avatar" on the main dashboard page. To change your homepage information, select the "personal profile" tab and edit the information there. To change your username, select the "preferences" tab and edit the appropriate fields. This screen also permits you to manage your email notifications from Gurutropolis.

How do I add an event?
Click on the Events tab at the top of all pages. Then click "Create New Event" in the menu bar just above the advertising banner on the right of your screen. Fill in all of the appropriate details for your event, and click submit.

How do I promote my business, products, or service?
There are a number of ways to promote what you do including posting wall and forum discussions or adding your events to the events page. By being active and interacting with the discussions on the site you will increase your profile in our community. If you have articles, ebooks, or other resources you'd like us to promote on the site they can be submitted to REVIEWS found on our Contact Us page (on the bottom of each page)

Can I write and submit an article?
Absolutely. We welcome your perspective, and encourage you to spread your message by contributing relevant articles for our community. Send your article to REVIEWS found on our Contact Us page (on the bottom of each page)

How do I start a group?
Click on the Groups tab at the top of all pages. Then click "Create A Group" in the menu bar just above the advertising banner on the right of your screen. Fill in all of the appropriate details for your group, select if it is to be a public, or invitation only group, and whether the forum discussions are for group members only or visible to all. Select an avatar for the group and click Submit.

What is an avatar?
A picture that represents you or your group.
